The trip to the public library in Albstadt

Learning groups 6.1 and 6.2 visited the public library in Albstadt on 6 April 2022. The bus ride took 30 minutes.

We formed groups and each group got an IPAD. On this iPad was a rally (tasks about the library that we had to solve). Some of the tasks were easy, but there were also difficult ones. There was a drinks machine with coffee, hot milk chocolate and hot drinking chocolate, so you can read a book comfortably with a cup of drinking chocolate. We played a quiz on what we had learned in the rally. Afterwards, we were allowed to look around the library on our own.

In addition to books, there are also DVDs, CDs, console games, audio plays and games.

We were allowed to get passes for one year (3 €). For the books, there are different sections, e.g.: Children's novels, youth novels, non-fiction, picture books for the younger ones among us, textbooks and comics. The public library is so modern that you can also borrow and read books online via the app ,,Onleihe". The excursion was very nice and interesting, but too short.
