... with these words St. Nicholas greeted the primary school pupils of the school centre on 6 December. He did not come alone, of course, but had his angels, Knecht Ruprecht and even a reindeer with him! After the children had welcomed him with a song, St. Nicholas took stock: the pupils had been hard-working, but sometimes a bit naughty. He urged them to be tidy in the school building and to respect all fellow human beings. But since the behaviour was satisfactory overall, St. Nicholas and his helpers rewarded all the children with mandarins and chocolate. The children in turn thanked him with poems and songs before Santa took his leave. See you next year!
