Donation handover for sick children

Today, the Stetten School Centre was able to hand over 900 euros to the "Help for Sick Children" Foundation of the University Children's Hospital in Tübingen. The donations were collected at the school centre's Christmas market when the individual learning groups pooled 10% of their proceeds for the foundation of the university hospital. Primary school teacher Renate Biselli had initiated the fundraising campaign: "I am personally convinced that the support is well received," she explains her long-standing commitment to the foundation.
"Around the treatment of the children, many additional costs arise for the families, e.g. for travel, parking or co-payments for medication," explains Philipp Nährig from the Foundation's office. "In individual cases, the parents can't always handle the burden - that's where every euro that can be included in the support helps."
The money is used, for example, to finance emergency aid for families, medical equipment for child-friendly and gentle treatment, or play and handicraft materials for the children's hospital playrooms.
