Proceeds of the bake sale for earthquake victims

The International Youth Club of GMS Stetten, together with learning facilitator Yasemin Karacan, had offered several break sales of homemade cakes in the cube of the school centre after the tragedy in Turkey and Syria in March, the proceeds of which were to benefit the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, as previously reported.

The club members, second language learning partners of the GMS, organised and responsibly carried out the sale and, at the end of the campaign period, generated 300 euros in donations, which will be forwarded to the German Red Cross - so that it reaches where help is needed.

"We would like to thank all the learning partners for their great commitment," says Toby Buck, praising the successful relief action.
