Easter action of the school centre Stetten

Classes 1 and 2 of the school centre Stetten am kalten Markt carried out an action at Easter by the teachers Salome Maute and school chaplain Martina Straub and gave away self-made Easter greetings to parishioners. This action realised a message from the well-known story of the Good Samaritan from the Bible: it is about doing something good for strangers and being merciful.

In cooperation with the teachers Katrin Schöllhorn, Elke Henle, Sarah Hinger, Rebecca Ruf and Jana Lorch, spring pictures were designed in the art subject, which were provided with a greeting or blessing on the back. The Protestant parish of Stetten a.k.M. distributed this greeting at Easter to parishioners who would be particularly happy about it at this difficult time, when restrictions on contact quickly create a feeling of loneliness and isolation. Participation was voluntary - each child was allowed to decide for themselves whether they wanted to pass on the spring greeting or give it to their own family.

With this project, the young artists of the Stetten School Centre had an enriching experience of active charity: making someone happy gives you the greatest joy and carries you through interpersonal relationships even beyond a prescribed distance. Without any risk of contagion.
