Enrolment ceremony for the new learning groups 5

At the start of the school year on 13 September, the Stetten a.k.M. school centre welcomed 41 new learning partners of this year's learning group 5 of the community school. Headmaster Christof Probst and Vice-Principal Jürgen Lebherz welcomed parents and students in the Alemannenhalle of the school centre and praised the substantial achievements of the school, even under pandemic conditions, as well as its motivated teaching staff, who will give the newcomers a very good start in their new phase of life.
The two learning groups 5 were able to explore their future place of learning with a school building rally, which had been put together especially for them by the learning groups 6 with Mrs Montalbano and Mrs Ziegler. Each new learning partner received a self-made school cone before they all met in the learning group room for a first get-to-know-you session with the learning group facilitators Mrs Unger and Mrs Bosch. Meanwhile, the parents were informed by the teachers Mrs. Schmitz, Mrs. Wohlleben and Mr. Lebherz about learning at a community school. With the different learning levels and the emphasis on one's own independence in learning and working, a community school offers young people a profitable alternative as a form of school that particularly focuses on the personal development opportunities of the individual pupil.

Afterwards, parents and teachers were able to exchange ideas over a snack in the parents' café, where they were warmly hosted by learning partners from learning group 8 - Joana Wetterer, Lena Werner, Azra Üryan, Sarah Ruf, Denise Ciliberto, Kyara Ackermann and Felix Buhl - together with their AES teacher Ms Wolfram.
