The learning groups 9 and 10 were in Berlin last week on their respective final trips. Our basketball teacher, Mr Becerra, used this opportunity for a sporting encounter that our learning partners will certainly not forget in a hurry.
Mr. Becerra, together with one of his former students from Chile, who is currently working at the university in Berlin, organised a game between our Stetten basketball team, which he had actually put together for Jugend Trainiert für Olympia, and a team from BC Lions Moabit.
Our team was actively supported by their learning groups and friends and acquaintances of the teachers from Berlin. Which was of course rewarded. Our team won 23 to 25.
We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone once again and hope that this was not the last sporting encounter of this kind.
